Free initial consultation
Your initial consultation is free (other architects charge for this consultation). Included in this visit are site
appraisal, taking photos, discussing your project requirements, project feasibility and alternatives, planning
and building regulation issues, and approximation of build costs.
Architectural consulting/preliminary design services
• Developing an architectural brief and sketching preliminary design options
• Advice on other required services (such as structural engineer,
roofer, plasterer, etc.)
• Assessing the potential of a house or other property before a purchase
• Assessing required consents: (e.g., listed building consents, Party Wall Act, your neighbours’ ‘right to light’ considerations, etc.)
Our architects can also advise on sustainability issues, recommending materials (and appliances/fixtures)
with low embodied energy and high-performance insulation to reduce energy consumption.
